How Crisis Skylight London can help you

If you are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, we can help you.

To us, homeless means sleeping on the streets or living in a hostel, shelter or refuge. It also means living in supported housing because you have been homeless, or sofa surfing.

We offer one to one support to help you through your experience out of homelessness. All of our services are free.

Resolving your homelessness

You will be allocated a Lead Worker who will work with you one to one to end your homelessness and find a suitable accommodation option for you. Your Lead Worker will also support you in other areas of your life that can help ensure that you are able to maintain your accommodation. These could include: helping you to look for work; supporting you to access training, education and volunteering; advice around welfare benefits; advice around your rights as a tenant and support to help you maintain your tenancy.

Opticians

Crisis members can access our twice weekly optician service to get eye tests and glasses. Clinics have resumed and are running on Mondays and Wednesdays. People can contact either call us or contact the london inbox to arrange an appointment.

Counselling

Counselling provides a space for you to talk through issues that may be holding you back in your life. Talking therapy with a trained counsellor can help you to work through problems in your life and help you to develop new patterns of behaviour.

The counselling service at Crisis offers you a confidential space to talk about whatever you want for a set time each week for a set period of time, usually 12 weeks. Our counselling service is available for active members of Crisis Skylight, your lead worker can refer you and talk you through the process.
