How your money helps

We know homelessness is not inevitable. From decades of experience working with thousands of homeless people we know what's needed to end it. But it is only by working together that we can achieve this. The services we deliver rely on the incredible support we receive from fundraisers.

£10

provides a warm welcome and helps someone take the first steps out of homelessness.
While we campaign together for the changes needed to end homelessness for good, we will continue to welcome individuals into our centres and provide services that we know address the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness. Last year we welcomed over 10,000 individuals into our services.

£25

helps someone regain a sense of worth through healthcare and counselling.
Being homeless is devastating for a person’s mental and physical health. Crisis helps people rebuild their health and wellbeing through classes, social activities, personal coaching and by supporting them to access GPs and other services.

£50

helps someone gain the skills or qualifications they need to turn their life around.
Lack of skills and qualifications can lead people to become and stay homeless, isolated from society, work and independence. Education is at the heart of Crisis – supporting people to build knowledge and skills, grow in confidence and feel more positive about the future.

£100

provides support, training and equipment to help someone find their way back into employment.
Eighty per cent of homeless people say they want to get back into work. Crisis’ employment coaches help people find their own route towards a new job or career. Last year, 737 people that used our services secured a paid job.

£250

provides one-to-one support to help someone find a safe place to call home.
For many homeless people, private renting is the only way to find a home. Through coaching, classes and projects across the UK, Crisis gives people the tools and knowledge they need to find a rented house and make it into a home. Last year, 533 individuals that we worked with secured stable housing.
