Crisis Skylight South Yorkshire

The Crisis Skylight South Yorkshire team is working hard to provide support to our members.

We are now fully back up and running and back to providing our usual, friendly, service. This is usually a combination of face-to-face and over the phone support to help you end your homelessness for good.

If you need support, please contact us by calling 0114 317 7300 or email: southyorkshire@crisis.org.uk. Please do not come to the Crisis Skylight South Yorkshire building as we don't offer member support from this location.

How Crisis can help you in South Yorkshire

Every year we work with thousands of people to help them rebuild their lives and leave homelessness behind for good. How we can help depends on someone's needs and situation.

One of our friendly experts will spend time with you to work out what you need. We could help you with:

Housing
Education & Employment
Health & Wellbeing

Amy Williamson the Director of The Wonder Agency contacted Crisis on behalf of Hug At Home, who are a British manufacturer based in Yorkshire. Hug at Home had woven blankets they wanted to donate to our Crisis members to help the homeless and vulnerable over the winter months. Crisis supports our members across the South Yorkshire area and the blankets were a very welcome donation. We have distributed the blankets to our members, those who are already in accommodation and those who have just moved into a property and everyone was very thankful and appreciative of the gift.

Russell who is one of our members at Skylight South Yorkshire has been working with our arts tutor Gill on a variety of Polymer Clay projects that go towards his QEL vocational qualification. He has been using this highly coloured modelling material that you oven bake for all his projects.

Our volunteers support us in our goal to end homelessness by encouraging and motivating members in our classes and helping them to build confidence, supporting our members to manage and sustain their tenancy or helping behind the scenes to ensure our team can do their job. Our volunteers time matters and they are an inspiration to all of us. Even this photo was taken by a volunteer.
