As human beings, we all have a right to be treated with dignity and we all need a home to build a life and thrive.
But right now, hundreds of thousands of people in our country are experiencing homelessness – forced to sleep on friends' sofas and floors, live in crowded or unsafe places, sleep on buses or in cars or even stay out on the street.
You really can make a difference and help someone to change their life. Please donate what you can today.

Ben went to university in Brighton. Over the summers when he couldn’t be in halls, he didn't really have many places to go.
"So, that was sort of the early days of sleeping on sofas and in spare rooms and places like that. Towards the end of university was when the panic of homelessness really set in. I can't really put into words the fear and anxiety that comes with it. It’s one of the scariest things I've ever had to deal with.
"Eventually, I got in touch with Crisis. And a couple of days later Ryan phoned up. The first thing he said was, look, mate, you're going to be all right, we're going to help you. Whatever timescale you’re working to, whatever your needs are, we'll figure something out. I finished that phone call and just broke down, for like a good hour, because the relief just hits you."
Ryan supported Ben to find an affordable flat to rent and helped Ben get a job at Labre’s Hope, a social enterprise that makes soap and provides ongoing wellbeing support in partnership with Crisis.

How we help someone depends on their individual needs. It could be help finding a home, learning new skills and finding a job, or supporting health and wellbeing.
We use research to find wider solutions to homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to end homelessness for good.
For every £1 we spend on fundraising, we raise another £2.19 to fund our charitable services
